Dear Shady Grove Members,
The spiritual health and well-being of our members and community are our top priority. We are actively monitoring the pandemic as it unfolds across the nation and are making some critical decisions and changes as it relates to Shady Grove. We have recently learned that one of our own has been impacted by COVID-19 and many others have had family members, friends, and coworkers affected by this virus through illness, unemployment, uncertainty, and unmonitored fear.
Prayerfully we are closing “all access” to Shady Grove for professional cleaning, we are migrating all services to virtual meetings including 1st Sunday communion service. We hope and pray that everyone sees that winning a battle is not winning the war. We can no longer hold on to the way “we use to do things”, it just does not work in this season. There will come a day where we can get back to business as usual but right now we have to follow God down a different path.
Please keep our entire church family in prayer as we fight through this pandemic, communicate good and bad news to impacted individuals over the next few days, months, or even longer. I do ask that you continue to monitor your messages as we press forward toward VICTORY over COVID-19 and anything else that comes against God’s people.
